Center for Positive Sexuality Logo

The Center for Positive Sexuality is a great organization that gives open, honest information about sexuality in all forms. They offer several classroom presentations, as well as private consultations. Adrianne gives an informational lecture called “Relationships, Sexuality, and Disability” to upper division human sexuality courses to point out a very human aspect that is often overlooked, ignored, or denied to persons with disabilities.

Triumph-Foundation‘s mission is to inspire individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries to triumph over their disability and to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing themselves to get better every day. They reach out to people who have SCI by serving as educators, advocates, positive models of people living healthy lives despite their disabilities, and more!

Their mission is simple: Make a Positive Impact. Adrianne met Louis, the CEO of Hopeless Records, during a presentation to a cultural psychology class. With his inspiring words about his perspectives of being mostly blind, the founder and owner of a successful record label, and being a father to a toddler – Adrianne teamed up with Louis and has soaked up some of the goodness of this company.

Alliance for Technology Access Logo

Adrianne gave her first online talk during the Alliance for Technology Online Community’s e-learning series about disability etiquette. The mission of the ATA is to increase the use of technology by children and adults with disabilities and functional limitations. ATA encourages and facilitates the empowerment of people with disabilities to participate fully in their communities. Through public education, information and referral, capacity building in community organizations, and advocacy/policy efforts, the ATA enables millions of people to live, learn, work, define their futures, and achieve their dreams.
